Plaza España

It has its origins in the sixteenth century when the city overflows the walled enclosure. During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries was the place for the celebration of various bullfighting festivals on the initiative of the noblemen and gentlemen of Vejer amount.

In 1955 a fountain was built in the center of the square made of Sevillian tiles, and since then it is popularly known as Pl. de los Pescaítos. In this square stands the Town Hall.
